The United Nations have released a report stating that we only have 12 years left to fix things before climate catastrophe.The report says the earth’s temperature could rise by 1.5°C as early as 2030 if greenhouse gas emissions continue at their current rate. This would lead to the elimination of fresh water for one third of the planet, sea levels will rise at an alarming rate causing low-level countries like the Maldives to be submerged. There will be an increase in the number of natural disasters and spread of disease, and crop growth may become stunted.
